Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Heights Regulars membership program, comprising the Heights Regulars and Heights Regulars Plus membership tiers (each a “Membership”, together the “Memberships”), offered by Double RR Pty Ltd (ABN 28 658 220 056) trading as Heights Cycling (“Heights Cycling”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing or renewing a Membership, you (“Member”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms. We may amend these Terms from time to time in accordance with clause 12.

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms apply to both Membership tiers offered by Heights Cycling: Heights Regulars and Heights Regulars Plus.

1.2 We may modify, suspend, or discontinue a Membership tier, or introduce new tiers, on 30 days’ notice (given by email or by posting on our website).

1.3 By subscribing to a Membership, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.

1.4 Membership is available to individuals aged 18 years or over.

2. Membership Tiers and Fees

2.1 Heights Regulars — $559 per bike per year or $49 per bike per month annual membership (inclusive of GST where applicable). Suits riders who typically bring their bike in for a service roughly every four to six months.

2.2 Heights Regulars Plus — $749 per bike per year or $49 per bike per month annual membership (inclusive of GST where applicable). Suits riders who typically bring their bike in for a service roughly every quarter.

2.3 Membership is sold per bike, not per person. Each Membership is linked to one nominated road or triathlon/TT bike specified at the time of purchase (“Nominated Bike”). A Member with more than one bike may hold a separate Membership for each bike.

2.4 If your Nominated Bike is sold, retired, or replaced during your Membership Year, you may ask us to transfer your Membership to a replacement road or triathlon/TT bike. Transfers are at our discretion and do not extend the Membership Year or reinstate benefits already used.

2.5 A “Membership Year” means the 12-month period commencing on the date your Membership is purchased or renewed.

3. Membership Benefits

3.1 Heights Regulars includes, once per Membership Year unless stated otherwise:

(a) one Heights Tune;

(b) one Heights Overhaul (road or TT/Tri specification, matching your Nominated Bike);

(d) priority booking ahead of non-member customers, subject to workshop capacity; and

(e) one complimentary annual bike position check-in with our fit team (a shorter, lighter-touch session than a full Heights Fit service).

3.2 Heights Regulars Plus includes everything in clause 3.1, plus:

(a) two Heights Tune;

(b) one Heights Overhaul 9road or TT/Tri specification, matching your Nominated Bike);

(c) a 15% discount on parts and accessories purchased in conjunction with a workshop visit, in place of the 10% discount in clause 3.1(c); and

(d) unlimited walk-in Quick Checks between scheduled visits (see clause 4.2);

(e) one complimentary annual bike position check-in with our fit team (a shorter, lighter-touch session than a full Heights Fit service).

(f) a Renewal Credit calculated in accordance with clause 5.

3.3 General conditions applying to all benefits:

(a) Discounts apply to in-store and online purchases at heightscycling.cc only, and do not apply to bikes, gift cards, or sale/clearance-priced items.

(b) The Heights Tune and Heights Overhaul inclusions cover labour only. Parts and consumables required to complete the service (e.g. cables, bar tape, brake pads) are charged separately at standard pricing, less any discount you’re entitled to under clause 3.1(c) or 3.2(c).

(c) Included services and benefits are personal to the Member and the Nominated Bike, are not transferable to another person or bike (except as permitted under clause 2.4), and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

(d) Included services and Quick Checks not used within the Membership Year in which they arise expire at the end of that Membership Year and do not carry over.

(e) All benefits are subject to product, service, and appointment availability.

4. Using Your Membership

4.1 To book your included Heights Tune or Heights Overhaul, contact us or book online in the usual way. Membership bookings receive priority scheduling under clause 3.1(d).

4.2 A “Quick Check” (Heights Regulars Plus only) is a brief, no-appointment safety and adjustment check — for example a brake and gear check, tyre pressure check, or quick visual safety inspection — provided on a walk-in basis during trading hours, subject to mechanic availability. Quick Checks do not include parts replacement or any work that would ordinarily require a workshop booking.

4.3 “Unlimited” Quick Checks are subject to fair and reasonable personal use. We may decline or limit Quick Checks that are used in a manner inconsistent with normal personal use — for example, requests that amount to a full service, or use on a bike other than your Nominated Bike.

5. Renewal Credit (Heights Regulars Plus only)

5.1 During each Membership Year, we track your spend on components, accessories, and nutrition products purchased at Heights Cycling, in-store or online at heightscycling.cc (“Eligible Spend”).

5.2 At renewal, we apply a credit equal to 5% of your Eligible Spend for the preceding Membership Year to your Heights Regulars Plus renewal fee, up to a maximum of 50% of that renewal fee (“Renewal Credit”).

5.3 Eligible Spend does not include: bikes; gift cards; sale or clearance-priced items; and amounts already reduced by the discount in clause 3.2(c).

5.4 The Renewal Credit applies only if you renew your Heights Regulars Plus Membership at the point of expiry. It is not redeemable for cash, cannot be transferred to another person, bike, or Membership, and is forfeited if you do not renew.

6. Fees and Payment

6.1 Membership fees are payable annually, in full, in advance, at the time of purchase and each subsequent renewal.

6.2 We accept payment by the credit card, debit card, or other payment method specified at checkout or in-store.

6.3 We may review Membership fees annually. Any change will apply from your next renewal, and we will notify you at least 30 days before it takes effect.

7. Renewal

7.1 Unless you cancel in accordance with clause 8, your Membership automatically renews for a further 12-month Membership Year at the then-current fee, charged to the payment method we hold on file.

7.2 We will send a reminder before each renewal. You may cancel or opt out of auto-renewal at any time before the renewal date, free of charge, by notifying us in accordance with clause 8.2.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

8.1 Cooling-off period: if you change your mind, you may cancel your Membership within 14 days of the date of purchase or renewal for a full refund, provided you have not used any Membership benefit (an included service, Quick Check, or discount) during that period.

8.2 To cancel, email admin@heightscycling.cc or notify us in writing at our store address (clause 13).

8.3 Outside the cooling-off period in clause 8.1, or once any Membership benefit has been used, Membership fees are non-refundable. Cancelling stops future renewal but does not entitle you to a refund for the current Membership Year, and any unused inclusions are forfeited.

8.4 We may suspend or cancel your Membership, without refund, if you fail to pay any amount owing to us, materially breach these Terms, or misuse Membership benefits (including under clause 4.3).

9. Liability and Indemnity

9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heights Cycling is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your Membership.

9.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

9.3 You agree to indemnify Heights Cycling against claims arising from your misuse of Membership benefits.

10. Privacy

10.1 Personal information collected in connection with your Membership is handled in accordance with the Heights Cycling Privacy Policy, available at heightscycling.cc.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

12.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website and, where they materially affect your benefits or fees, notified to you by email at least 30 days in advance.

12.2 Your continued Membership after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
